I’ve entered all of my information, but am not sure how to save it and if it is there…

As you create your sign up sheet and add categories & items, your information is automatically saved. When you are finished creating your sign up sheet, it is ready to be used – no further action is necessary!

Andrew,
Here is a sheet I am working on. http://www.timetosignup.com/bducharm/signupsheet/4170
My question is this, notice on my son’s sign up (Tom Ducharme 14U Boys) I have “will not be there DuCharme”? I had to use the first name entry of the sign up to make it show that he would not be there. It is rather inelegant.
I want this sheet to work well for coaches, especially in swimming where they can see at a glance who from each age group and sex will be there and who won’t so they can more easily plan the meet. There has to be a better way to do this. I just don’t know what it is.
Would it be possible to have 2 buttons on the sign up for each item, maybe one for yes or no (customer be able to specify?)
Am I making sense in what I am trying to accomplish?
It would also be nice if you were able to specify field names and required info per sheet instead of one sort of master setting for those.
Did you miss me in my brief hiatus between kid sports? Ha ha.
Thanks as always for running such a great site. I gotta get me one of those hats!

At the moment, the only info that appears on the sign up sheet is the first name and last name. So for a coach to glance at the sign up sheet, he/she will only see the first and last name unless you enter “Tom Smith – NO” or something not-too-pretty like that.
Two options:
1. Make two columns for each age group – one for attending, one for not attending. Then the person signs up in the appropriate column, either for yes – attending, or no – not attending. (I realize this makes the sign up sheet twice as big, so that can be an issue for large swim clubs.)
2. Give the coach admin access so that he/she can log in and see more detailed info for each swimmer (admittedly not too quick when needing to see many swimmers for each meet, and also requires a $6.99 admin account if you don’t already have an extra one purchased).
You are the second person to recently request a way to display other information when signing up. It is something I will look into making an option. I will also look into the feasibility of customizing fields on a per-sheet basis instead of a per-account basis. One thing I worry about is a. making a big change like this that could mess up current users of the site and b. making the site too complicated for people to use. But it is something I will definitely look into.
